David

David Fredman, Ph.D., Med.Dr., Post Doc, Bergen

David is a researcher, (Post Doc), at Bergen Center for Computional Science, Computational Biology Unit, where he study evolution and genetic variation. David's tasks is among others to guide doctor students, analyse data, write reports and travel around the world. Beside his reseraching he produce Clubmusic.

His love for sounds has led him through early computerized music, piano and tuba sessions to House. Tireless efforts in front of monitors so far resulted in releases on Kickin, Dessous, Seasons and Kass as David Panda

Peter plays bass- alto- and sophrano saxophone, vertical flute and clarinet as a pro Musician in the established jazzgroup of Fredrik Norén Band (FNB) , national and international performance, US, Malaysia, Brasil and much more; Margareta Bengtsson's Band, Stockholm Jazz Festival 2007-07; Tales and other constellations of jazz, such as Jan Slottenäs Orchestra, Stefan Andersson Big Band @ Roxy, Latin the Mood, Bo Belly Band @ Ms Cinderella, Ninni Bautista, Apocalypse Jazz Orchestra, Tales & Björn Ranelid. Latest at Cirkus in Stockholm with Robert Gustafsson and Tommy Körberg in "Rivierans Guldgossar" - music leader Jan Radesjö.

His music background is Framnäs, Music Programme in Piteå, Skurup, Music Programme in Skåne and The Royal College of Music in Stockholm, Master's Programme in Music, Jazz/Afro American Tradition.

Peter Fredman is said to be one of the most interesting sax players on the Swedish jazz scene. He plays with a personal sound, hot and soft. Also a great composer like in the 1:st track of tunes in Pete's Heat, FNB - Moon Rush and in Pete's Flame, FNB - Live at Glenn Miller Café, Stockholm.

In Tales he plays Sophrano sax, Peter Tegnér, Guitars and Composer, Jessica Ottosson, Vocal. The author Björn Ranelid is also on stage.

Maria has a wonderful sophra-no voice, recognised at an ear-ly age, when she also played piano. However, Maria desided do use her creative and open mind on Industrial Design at Umeå University, Sweden. She has finished her Bachelor Degree.

Marias examproject:

Personal item guard for public environments
In collaboration with The Swedish Theft Prevention Association. This product func-tions as a guard in situations where it is hard to keep an eye on the user’s belongings. The lock is designed to deter a thief, and alarms if a theft should take place. A remote control keeps radio contact with the lock and makes sure possessions remain within the chosen distance. With sensiti-vity to both motion and distance, the product can be adjusted to the user’s needs in different situations.
