My roots...
My roots is from the province of Västerbotten and the present administration of Västerbotten incl. the western part of the south of Lappland, provinces of Västernorrland, Medelpad, Dalarna, Västmanland and the Russian Poland (1780-) and Scotland. Born 1946 in Kristineberg/Norsjö(AC). Growing up in Burträsk parish. The most frequent parishes in my family are Skellefteå, Lövånger, Bygdeå, Burträsk, Norsjö, Jörn, Malå, Arvidsjaur, Degerfors (the present Vindelns kommun) and Lycksele parish. My digital familydatabase includes futher more parishes in Sweden and other countries and more than 116.200 persons (2010-04-02). Since I'm moved in from Västerbotten(AC) to Piteå town (BD=Norrbotten) in 1973, I have out of sheer curiosity also registered facts about persons, which moved in från the south of the old part of Västerbotten to Piteå valley from about 1680 and forward and of course their ancestors in many generations. This means that I often finds relatives in 6-10:th generation among now living people in Piteå kommun, for example among my students, my collegues and principals at Strömbackaskolan in Piteå.

Six years in a so called. integrated B-school in Åsträsk 20 kilometers south of Bastuträsk(AC). My classteacher in the six class, Hans Nordin, became principal in Burträsk and than director of all schools in Skellefteå town. 3 years in realschool in Burträsk 1960-63; gymnasium in Skellefteå and Umeå 1963-66.
Stabsuoff-education, 15 mån. at I20 Umeå/Sollefteå 1966-68, Motorofficereducaton at Kadettskolan I16 in Halmstad summer 1969, Umeå University 1968-08 -- 1970-01,
Fil. Pol.mag. (Statistik 20p, Nationalekonomy 50p, Economics 60p, Political science 30p and Civcil legal science "Proppen" 10p); Institute of education in Uppsala/ Hudiksvall 1972 during 1 year, political and social science and economics. E.o. as at teacher at Strömbackakolan in Economics from 1973-01. Today I work as a techer in the SP/NVT-program, at Strömbackaskolan in Piteå since 1973. Three grown up children. I have run a computer company, EkData Konsult, during 10 years (1989-1998) beside and of cource run the Stockholm Marathon in june 1982.
And futhermore, I like to travel by fligth around the world.
Trade-union and political commissions of confidence
Simultaneous commissions beside as treasurer in LR(trade-union) local and treasure in the district + auditor in Strömnäs GIF with a budget of ca. 4 miljon SEK. Member of Estate Court during one mandatperiod and member in Tax Committe during two mandatperiods till 2006.
Member of a number of Societies of Genealogy. Member of the board as suppleant in Pitebygdens Forskarförening, where I have been editor and have been legally responsible for Ätt & Bygd, a magazine for the members of the Society. Welcome, young as elder, to be a member you too! Before 21 years of age a membership will only cost you 50 SEK a year!
